Solo, end to end

Work I design and code myself, end to end. The same person who draws the screen writes the row-level security policy, wires the payment gateway and ships the token layer. One of them paused before launch; its page says so.

Research changes decisions

73 interviews across two markets

I don’t run research to validate what’s already decided. I run it when there’s a real question, and the findings actually change the product.

AI tooling, used pragmatically

Cursor, Claude Code, Figma MCP

I use AI as a design partner, not a replacement. It’s how I close the gap between Figma intent and production code.

Systems before screens

Design tokens. Cross-platform parity.

Most “design systems” are component libraries with a logo. I work on the foundations: tokens, naming, governance, the boring parts that make everything else possible.

Pixel craft still matters

Alignment. Spacing. Contrast.

Strategy without craft is a deck. Senior design means knowing when to argue with the PM about scope and when to nudge a button two pixels to the right.
